The Sizzling Real Estate Spectacle Continues
Jun 19, 2017 in Market News

So a trend we saw hints of in the 1st quarter of this year has undeniably turned into a full blown conflagration!

In the month of May 2017 we once again (see April figures) saw significantly higher prices combined with extremely low transaction volume in both Southern Maine (York County) & Greater Portland (Cumberland County). The mid coastal regions remained largely mixed, but this could also be due to smaller transaction volume sizes in both Sagadahoc and Lincoln County.

What does this all mean?

Well...its definitely a great time to be a seller :), but maybe also not necessarily a terrible time to be a buyer either as upside pressure on pricing will most likely continue for the foreseeable future with the large amount of pent up demand coupled with many new buyers continuing to enter the market daily.

In a game that is hard to predict..the best advice I can give is what my father gave me  "Buy what you like, like what you buy"
